So, apparently, I tend to come back to deviantART around this time of year to say something. Probably along the lines of "please don't shut down my account! I still like it here!" even if this is my online version of that desk drawer full of stuff you don't want to throw away but don't really use. I married a photographer. I'm working full-time as an in-house graphic designer. Life is good.

So, deviantart. Yay. It still exists. I have moved on, clearly. But I made some art today and posted it (Rainbow). Photography...hmm...I'm getting my creative out with my job as a graphic designer so that I don't do a lot of photography anymore. Summer ravel - my muse - consisted of Ottawa. The closest I've been to home, and the shortest trip, ever. Didn't take any pictures that struck me as "must be put up on DA", hence their absence here. Graduated with a BA in English Language & Lit, got a job doing Graphic Design, got engaged. It's been a good last year, I do suppose.

Have I been making art? Well, photography, certainly, although nothing particularly fantastic has really come up in the last year. I've started taking pictures with stock photos in mind, and a few of mine have bee accepted for use at sxc.hu - that's my way of giving back to the website I use just about every day. But this summer, working as a graphic designer, was fun. I won't put that work up here, copyright and such. This (the image uploaded today) is the first 'for fun' thing I've done for a while.
